Burke Update
Here’s the latest – Brian Burke has been offered a boatload of dough by a suitor that’s not the Maple Leafs. However, this changes nothing. The Burke-Leafs deal has essentially been done in theory since the summertime and remains only a matter of time.

…lets hope this is true and he takes it…better GM options at the end of the year, folks!…burke 4 president, sure, but for GM?…well, i just hope he proves me wrong…

I think that this is a smoke-screen set up by Burke’s lawyer to gain a bigger contract by the Leafs. I think Toronto is the only team that wants him – but by saying there is other interests out there, it will force MLSE to fork over more dough to the Burke camp…
