The Toronto Star is reporting that Jonas Frogren and Mike Van Ryn are with the Leafs on their west coast trip, and that both have been skating well.

It is also being reported that Jason Blake (listed as headaches even though we all know it is post-concussion syndrome) is ready to play, and that Matt Stajan is winning The War On The Flu Bug.

    There is no definite timetable on Frogren or Van Ryn’s return yet, but it’s good to hear they’re skating with the club. I would be surprised if Stajan or Blake aren’t in the lineup tonight against LA.

    Let’s hope that hit knocked some sense into Blake. It’ll be nice when MVR comes back. With Vesa starting to play well MVR infront of him will be a blessing.

    I’ve heard two weeks for MVR. I don’t want to rush him at all though, the guy has delicate wrists and with his current hand injury I don’t want him to battle through any pain there just to get back in the line up.

    Anyone have a stat on how we’ve played without Van Ryn in the lineup vs when he was in. I would defiantly bet its a losing record.

    Alright that is good news, he can showcase his skills and increase his trade value! I like him a lot but if he’s as injury prone as they say it’d be nice to move him while his value is high.

    Man, I don’t know what’s with this site bringing in boring writers, but there’s very few people I’ll even read on this site now. If you’re going to write something at least give an opinion IN the article rather than just copying and pasting a few things and posting it as an article by you. Boring.

    I agree with Georgie, there should be more opinion articles about the team and the players. At the same time though, it is awesome to get updates like this as well.

    Another good thing about these guys getting healthy: the Leafs can move White back to forward. Pairing him with Stempniak could give us three good lines.
