The Cammalleri camp has countered an offer from Brian Burke… working on figures. Sportsnet now reporting: Ottawa, New York, Toronto in on Cammalleri.

    i think burkie went to stockholm to talk turkey with the sedins/ohlund, who unfortunately were signed by the time he landed. i think he should be leaving the monster alone at this point…dude’s mom just died (leaving him with no parents or siblings) and he’s probably just having a tough time making life decisions with his girlfriend. burke is no dummy, i don’t think he would go out of his way to harass the guy.

    Just Kidding guys, but in all seriousness, I think he went over there to talk with the Sedin’s and being that he is there, he might as well have a little visit with Gustavsson. I can’t see it being a problem, especially if Burke lets him know he was in the area for other reasons and just figured he’d stop by and say “hi”
    Looks like it’s down to 3 teams in the running for “The Monster” as the Avs have signed Anderson.
