4 years at one million per season. Rumours that Chris Neil and Travis Moen could be next… the theme is obvious here.

I love the Orr signing. 4 years @ $1million per is definitely worth it. Even though he only has 11 points in 245 career games with the NYR and the Bruins, he’s the kind of player we need. The Leafs need to get tougher – none of this Jamal Mayers / Ryan Hollweg business. What’s gonna happen with Deveaux and May though?

As for Neil and Moen, I like Neil – he can play hockey AND he’s tough.

Not gonna say it again, but Moen sucks. We shouldnt want him. He has horrible team defence. He was -18 last year, and -10 the year before. He had one good year with the Ducks, thats it. Money is better spent elswhere

I for one really hope Neil doesn’t end up on the team. I flat out don’t like him. And if he thinks he’s worth more than $2M per year, he’s dreaming. The only thing that I could see liking about him is that he’d really dish it out to his former teammates.
    .
    But don’t do it Burkie!!

Getting a heavyweight like Orr had to be a #1 priority! Last year teams took liberties with us – no more!
Hopefully our pick coming back from Atlanta in the rumoured trade for Kubina is a 2nd rounder!
