Admire the Kids – Part 1

This is part 1 of a collection of youtube videos that I believe greatly exposes the true talent in the Leafs new system. Each is an individual of a new player coming up in the Leafs organization. This should make the next 60 days a bit more bearable. In this feature, you’ll see some great clips of Tyler Bozak, a bio on Christian Hanson and highlights of the “Swedish Rocket”, Viktor Stalberg.

Tyler Bozak

3way idea is absurd–sj needs to significantly reduce payroll, not add to it by taking on heatley etc–also ottawa would make off like bandits when their options are limited with heatley

the whole idea is utter nonsense

maybe trade clowe or michalek to leafs for white and tlusty in their minds

clowe for Tlusty AND White… please God NO!

Make them stop.. they are trying to destroy what Burke has built in the last few weeks.

  • Jordan

Were keeping Tlusty, and thats that lol. Would you give up on Kadri in 2 years time? NO!! Thats the same situation as Tlusty, give him a shot! He has the same upside potential as Kadri basically, maybe a little less but he is still higher then alot of guys on our chart like Bozak, Hanson, Stalberg, Stephvanovic, D. and J. Mitchell and alot of others

This site is such a welcome addition over the crap we get on all the other discussion gossips sites. My thinking now is that we basically stand pat. We have a good team now, a far deeper set of prospects than even we care to admit. But we still have deal fever. Sure we will likely make a functional trade or two before the season opens but that is enough.

At next years trade deadline we have Stajan and Poni coming up as trade bait if we so choose. Both will garner minimum 2nd round draft picks and I suspect both are going to have breakthrough years barring injury woes because there is so much push on this years team. No offensive minded Leaf will ever be on the ice without a skilled and physically able bodyguard on the back end willing to defend them.

Folks we already have a quality organization and it was built in just a few months. We are deep in prospects, have one of the best defences in the NHL have quality skilled depth and capability in net and we have young forwards who are prime to perform.

I would think half the league is looking at us thinking, that we are ones to overcome to get into the playoffs.
