I watched the Boston feed for the game online, and holy shit, they really need to fuck off with all this Kessel bullshit. Kesselmania II, sooo gay. I want him to score so bad in beantown so he could do the hand around the ear cele like his college days against Wisconsin.

I want to then run it over with my Tundra !!

And I agree…when a shot is redirected that high up in the slot the goalie should be able to make the adjustment. I know most top 10 goalies would. Hell maybe top 50.

@ paso: Ditto! I have said all along when they play good as a team like the third period we have a chance. Kessel debate for me is more of the, why pick up a final or middle piece when you still need the beginning core. Although that core could very well be in the A right now. I believe Burke will go with at least three or four current Marlies next year. The flip side of the argument I guess could be, if Kessel hits 50 within the next 2-3 years what would a trade bring us if we really go nowhere? Probably a serious top flight guy, a solid prospect and maybe a couple of picks.

If they would have lost 3-0 or something i would have been ok but to come back and get my hopes up pisses me off even more

    No … Not at all…

On a side note How many times do you need to kick someone in the Choda before they beg you to “finish them off” Cause that’s how many times i want to kick greg Millen in the Choda. Especially after the leafs lose

Unfucking believable -we fight and claw and had them on the ropes then Jason Fucking Blake had to go and hook Chara?!?!?! Get RID of Blake! The problem with Kessel on the ice is that when he”s on they send Chara over the boards and it’s a mismatch cuz Kessel is a passive sniper and doesbt bully his way up, the Bruins know him well enough to coral him, there has to be an aggresive forward willing enouigh to punish Chara and the Leafs just didn’t do that. I liked how we played and Toskala’s rebound control is much much better. Blake and Stajan still have to go and so does Wallin!

I had to watch the game last night on NESN online cause I live in Ottawa. Worst experience of my life, those hometown broadcasters were painful to listen to. Every time Toronto touched someone it was a penalty in their eyes. Combined with the outcome I almost threw my computer in the snowbank.

Hey guys I had an idea, with Gustavsson out with his heart problem and probably needing an AHL stint for conditioning when he returns and Toskala not playing like a number 1 (2 starts of still bottom 5 goaltending in the league isn’t good…even if it is good for him).
Montreal needs a top-6 type forward with size.
Poni for Halak + 3rd? We get another young 1A/B goalie and a late pick, they get a potential UFA top-6 forward with a decent cap hit who will look for a raise.
