Alright, it’s not a blockbuster, but I found it funny. Reports suggest Montreal acquired Dominic Moore from the Panthers for, you guessed it, another 2nd round pick. He’s becoming the 2nd round pick man, for some reason. He has 8 goals and 9 assists this season. Knowing Poni is commanding a 2nd round pick and a roster player or a prospect, perhaps Poni is worth a 1st in comparison.

    Wow… Is this suggesting a high pick + 2nd + player? Or does is mean that they are looking for a high pick in the 2nd round?

    Burke will hopefully hand on to Ponikarovsky until after Ray Whitney is dealt, or until the last minute on march 3. With the log jam to get into the playoffs, there are going to be some desperate GMs out there. Moore’s trade does nothing but help Poni’s value.

    I still think Brian Burke has Brayden Schenn on his wish list

    The thing with Horton is, everyone is saying he “wants out of Florida” and “Isn’t playing to his full potential”. I’m sorry but if a team is paying you 4 million dollars a year to play a fucking GAME as a job, you need to man up, suck it the fuck up, and play your %100 best. Makes me sick, why would we want this gy if that’s true. I’m not saying it true, but that’s what people use as an excuse to why he would be traded

    Why would Florida want a UFA if they are rebuilding the team? Horton is more valuable to them than an asset that disappears July 1.

    Stempniak easily has double the value of Dom. Moore… man leading up to March/3rd we could really get good value back…

    for the Life of me I don’t get why Kabby has not waived his NTC.. he’s getting dealt in the summer… I love the guy and all he’s done for the team but, it looks like it’s time to move on
