Canada should win. We have a stacked team all around and we have 4 good forward lines an 3 good defensive lines. I don’t think it will be easy but we should win gold.
My prediction: Canada beats Sweden for gold and Russia beats USA for bronze.

    @ long_suffering_leaf_fan:

this may have been answered already…

but Kulemin was told not to go very far from home as he was one of the first to get contacted in the event of an injury. Read that in the Sun on Sunday, but can’t find a link.

This game is going to be a joke.

    1 NHLer on Norway’s team, and he’s a bum.

Prediction: 9-0 Canada, if they stop trying after the 2nd period. 17-0 if they don’t

    @ the_cause2000:
Norway has this game in the bag, nobody can stop the mighty Norwegian march on their way to Gold!

O ya and my predictions for the medals will be 1. Canada (Favourite but we are beatable) 2. Sweden (Very solid team up and down). 3. Russia (Could win it all if Nabokov can play well with a fairly weak D) 4. Czech Republic (Very good team) 5. USA (They need Miller to be fantastic otherwise they are done) 6. Findland 7. Swiss 8. Who cares by now

Canada-Russia for the finals, and I won’t even dare predict the outcome for fear of jinxing our team.

Don’t underestimate the Russians; especially not their 4th line. Morozov is potentially the best player not in the NHL right now, and Zaripov+Zinoviev are deadly in the KHL. Their 3rd line is their make or break point.

That being said, Canada’s roster is F*ing unbelievable. Toews and Iginla on the 4th line, think about that for a minute…

USA will medal, mark my words- Miller is (an) incredible (SOB i hate him so much…make that “I hate him and buffalo they can all !@$$^#!#^@!@, etc.), and ridiculous work ethic beat big names (most) any day
