Leafs and Bruins

Luca Caputi makes his Maple Leaf debut tonight as Toronto visits Boston to battle it out with the Bruins. Seidenberg will suit up for the Bruins who are still aiming to remain in the playoffs despite injury woes and a lack of ability to land an elite scoring winger for Marc Savard. The quest to get out of the bottom five continues for the Leafs tonight.

The Leafs will be without Lee Stempniak and Alexei Ponikarovsky tonight, who have been dealt for picks and players, but the big body of Luca Caputi will be the interesting topic of discussion for tonight. How will the rookie fair in his first game with the Leafs, and perhaps more importantly, how will fans react to his addition for the 25+ scoring winger they dealt to acquire him.

The Leafs are 8-18-6 on the road tonight and will kick off their first of a three game road swing. The Bruins have not won a game in regulation in their last 10 outings at home.

I’ll be liveblogging the game on TheScore tonight, and I just wanted to take a brief moment to thank everyone for tuning in here and TheScore for yesterday’s trade deadline. It was fun sharing insight and rumors with you all and I had a blast.

If you’d like to watch the new episode of CFB News, in which we critique the lameness of yesterday’s deadline, click here. For those that think it’s retarded, do not click it and just enjoy the game instead lol.

As for the Leafs 4 Life site, you can comment over there without having to register. Just fill in your usual username and type whatever you want. The only difference is that you won’t be able to use an avatar, but that’s no big deal really.

His being a Habs fan says it all.
The only Habs fans I can tolerate are the ones who are actually from that area and are supporting their home team. Can’t blame them. But most Habs fans I know are truly just highlight-reel fans so they literally only see the good plays, and therefore think their teams is the shit.
Likely the case with the retard you spoke with.

Btw, I see Microsoft teamed up with Ford for Ford’s programming.
I can see yet another maintenance problem coming from this: Cars with viruses. It’ll dwarf the Toyota problem.

Tim Brent and Jay Rosehill recalled from the Marlies. Mitchell and Sjostrom are questionable.

I think it’s just an IE issue, because on our home computer we use Firefox and I can see the avatars on it.

    @ Schenn:

Personally I don’t really care either way if the Frat Line is reunited. Their play together in rookie camp and training camp was , to me, far less important than to some. And our team is a lot different than it was. I’m one of those who doesn’t put a lot of importance on training camp, and Bozak has shown chemistry with Kessel and Kulemin. Hanson may end up back at centre too.

    @ B Leaf:
i liked your line combos, i sort of want to see the same thing happen, kaberle be traded for hodgeson, ila signed in the offseason, but as for the lines combos, i like them, but id have hodgeson start in the AHL, cause hes too good for 4th line duty, i see hanson as the perfect 4th line center for the leafs going forward, and id say the leafs sign someone like colby armstrong in the summer as well for the 3rd line. so lines would be similar to urs, but heres how id see it.

    Kessel Kadri Kovalchuk
    Kulemin Bozak Stalberg
    Armstrong Grabovski Caputi
    Sjostrom Hanson Orr
    Phaneuf Beachemin
    Gunnarson Schenn
    Komisarek Oreskevic/Aulie
    Giggy
    Gus

To the marlies would be hodgeson (from kaberle trade, and finger sent down for cap reasons.

havings kaberle and finger gone equals 7,750,000 mil off the cap, which is what u use for ila, the magic number for him might by 8.5 mil tho.

    what do u think?
