Finally, the moment a lot of us have been waiting for is upon us.  The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Tuesday afternoon the full roster of players who will represent the blue and white at the 2010 rookie tournament, taking place this weekend in London, Ontario.  The event runs from September 11th to the 14th at the John Labatt Centre, and remember Maple Leafs Hot Stove will have wall-to-wall coverage and unprecedented access.

A tap of the pads to Gus Katsaros for providing me the email.

Re: Schenn contract, People were saying Staal could get 4 to 5 mil a year, Schenn will be substantially less even if Staal gets it. Depending on this year he will get 2.5 – 3.5 mil

From whom we do not speak of:

    On the Leafs and Bruins…

The Bruins and Devils are both getting to the point where they are more and more desperate to move salary and the conversations between Toronto and the Bruins involving Blake Wheeler haven’t faded in the least…

  • LeafsRyan.

The ratings for NHL 11 are bullshit…
    .
Dustin Byfuglien 84 – how? just how… one good playoff run does not make you an 84…
Phil Kessel 84 – proven 30 + goal scorer and probably a 40 goal scorer. 86 at least..
    .
Colby Armstrong/Kris Versteeg 81 – alright.. thats fine if Jamal Mayers isn’t 80…
Jamal Mayers 80 – This one really bothers me… he is a servicable 4th liner at best
    .
Mitchel – 79 – He should be 75 at best imo.
MacArthur – 78 – 78 is fine for 15 + goal scorer that is not great defensivley… but not if Mitchel and Mayers are higher
    .
    Exelby – 80 – ok there
    Gunnarson – 77 – I no he’s not proven but 77 is too low…..
    .
Also why the fuck isn’t Scriveens and Rynnas on the marlies, but guys like Brad Ross and Greg Mckegg are in the game? Hopefully a roster update is available soon… I was pretty annoyed Exelby and Van Ryn are still leafs

    @ LeafsRyan.:

EA always fucks up ratings..Dont know if they actually watch hockey lol..
Dont wry, once the updates start coming out, you will be fine. Updates not from EA though, just general gamers as they tend to have more knowledge about player ratings
