Toronto got scoring from six different players and Jussi Rynnas made 31 saves for his third straight win. All four of Abbotsford’s goals were scored while on the power play.

James Reimer lifted the Marlies to a 2-0 shutout victory over the Heat on
Saturday with a 29 save performance. Joey Crabb and Dale Mitchell scored the two Marlie goals.

Not sure what the situation is with IOCC for hireing apprentices right now but for sure you should contact Heather Bruce Veitch at the St. Johns office. I know her quite well and she is a very nice lady.

Were you on The Rock when the marlies pulled up stakes? I used to catch several games a year when I was there and the fans were great. Must have been some pissed off people, what with the new arena and all.

Dunno if it’s been mentioned or not but Jesse Blacker got the call for Canada’s world jr camp. We have the possibility of having 2 prospects on the roster this year, nice!

There were, there still are, i’m one of them lol. If they were still here i’d go to every game. We had a QMJHL team after that but it tanked, I went to a couple of games but the arena was always empty. The team sucked and people didn’t think it was a competitive enough league to justify spending money on. The city is still trying to get an AHL team back here but it’s going to be a while before that happens. As for the arena, it would be one of the best in the league if the Leafs were still here

Crosby and the Pens tonight! Remember when there was a debate as to who the best player in the world was? When you consider the fact that Stall has been out all year and Malkin has been plying hurt or out with injury this seasons performance is absolutely incredible. I wonder if they should b put a shadow on him tonight, Like Corson on Yashin from the 02 playoffs

Very. I honestly feel better about our chances tonight than tomorrow. We seem to play tougher against the Pens. If we can pull it out tonight, limit Sid’s damage, who knows.

I dont’ know if you can shadow him. He is too strong and will just push you off

    @ MacInMoscow:
As do I, if Malkin is out they are down to one major offensive line, a shame though it’s Crosby

Well – them Leafs. I still believe that they are only a couple of players away from being in the play off race.
    -
We have a second line that unfortunately is playing as the first line. So if we could get a center to play with Kessel, and it is obvious that something is not working in Ottawa when Spezza drops to 0.64 point per game. Maybe he would waive to get home to GTA

Sid better have atleast 2 shadows on him tonight one named Schenn the other Aulie the kid has been to hot to not send 2 guys after him. Not to mention I want to see every single check finished on him even if it takes them out of the play let him know if he wants to score he’s going to have to earn it.
