Earlier this afternoon, Justin Fisher (co-host of the Steve Dangle show) tweeted the rather impressive stat-lines of a few Leafs‘ prospects.

For those not on Twitter, I’ve included in this update the prospects Justin mentioned — along with a few others — after the jump.

Players currently in the professional ranks (AHL, ECHL) are not included in this listing.

Well guys, I’m off to the cabin for the rest of the weekend. Not sure I’ll get CBC up there, so I’m going to probably…*gasp*….miss a Leafs game tonight. I’m kind of disappointed in myself, but just want to say, don’t let shit hit the fan if the Leafs don’t pull out another win. Lots of time left. Otherwise, hoping for a good game. Go Leafs Go!

In a couple of years the Leafs could be a real powerhouse,I like what Burke and staff are doing.

The Ross stat line is interesting. He has more PIMs that Devane and his point totals are very good. How many of these minutes are fighting majors? I remember laughing at the comparisons to Darcy Tucker but perhaps they are warranted.

olden is our sleeper. in two more years, everyone in the league might be wondering where this guy came from.

gardiner and colborne are KEY additions to our team, filling two very key and hard to find traits. big forward with skill, and puck moving defenseman.

as painful as the past 5 years have been i believe the next 5 will be equally exciting to watch unfold.

    @ moimoi28:
Meh, I don’t put much thought into the WJC. Its only a handfull of games. A couple bad ones, being sick, mind somewhere else etc all can effect someone. I never understood why there’s sooooooo much thought into it. A 60-70 game season in the OHL or 40+ in collage is more important I always think

Nice to see the prospects are doing well but I don’t believe there are very many ranked A prospects. First line players are hard to draft if they are not taken in the top five picks. Maybe we get lucky but the best chance for first line potential is still Colborne or Kadri. Trading for or getting a 1st line UFA is still very difficult especially young ones.
I am really hoping for Colborne but even if he develops we need a first line power winger. I do not see any prospects that look like they have that potential.
I think Burke still has to get one or we are a few years away from being contenders.

brad ross is in line to grow into the role currently being played by colby armstrong. and what an important role that is. hope he gets a chance to learn from colby directly at some point.

    @ Bring the Cup Home:
Ross definitely looks like he is an Armstrong clone. He has played with skilled players just like Armstrong has when he was younger. There is a potential depending on who we have in the top six a couple of years from now that he can play a bigger role than a third line player.

Looks good for Florida. Gives Rangers some depth for a playoff run but McCabe definitely an overpaid D.

In trades where McCabe is the centerpiece… he has returned a total of Mike Van Ryn, Pavel Brendl, Alexander Karpotsev, Vladimir Gusev, Tim Kennedy and a 3rd round pick.

imagine what pronger has returned if you lumped it all together and spelled out who all the draft picks ultimately turned into.

Probably not. McCabe is UFA at the end of the season. Komi has 3 more years after this season.
