The Walking Wounded: MacArthur and Grabovski

Ever since it was pointed out that there is quite the resemblance between Hershel from The Walking Dead and Brian Burke, I’ve been trying to think of a way to use this information. And when the Leafs announced that Clarke MacArthur and Mikhail Grabovski are out with injuries, it finally came together.

    u wouldn’t move him for Staal?
    Carolina would have to have either a name player or name prospect coming back to be able to justify moving out staal to the Canes fans.

    I’m fine with him on 4th line and getting very few minutes. Face it, if we had 12 forward available, Gardiner wouldn’t even be playing tomorrow night.

    Carolina would agree with you that Kadri is worth more then a first round pick. Hence why they would want more added to the package if Kadri wasn’t part of it. One of our better prospects would be moving in a trade for Staal or any top C. Which one it will be is a question only Burke will be able to answer. Aulie would carry some good trade value even though he’s had a slow start this year which i think is due to a bit of an injury. Not sure i would want to see him moved though.

    I keep wanting to add Bozak to trade offers but i feel burke might hold onto him as he has such a great relationship with other players on the team. Mac seems to be the main guy in trade talks around here.

    Obviously they do, didn’t we talk about this on here last night?

    I had a whole post the other night on why a deal with the Ducks wouldn’t make sense as they don’t really have anything we would want and what we would want, they wouldn’t trade.

    I mentioned Smith-Pelley in my post the other night as the only player the Leafs might be intersted in that the Ducks might actually part with, so nope, you didn’t prove me wrong.
