Leafs Broadcast Standings

Have you ever wondered what the Maple Leafs record “by station broadcasting the game” is? Danny Gray (@ACatNamedFelix) of The Leafs Nation mused about that very topic over Twitter last night, so I decided to do some quick digging to find the answer.

Without further ado, here are the 2011/12 Maple Leafs Broadcast Standings to date:

Maple Leafs Broadcast Standings
TSN 5-3-0 .625
Sportsnet 6-4-4 .571
CBC 6-5-0 .545
LeafsTV 2-3-1 .417

.

Obviously, these numbers don’t really mean much of anything. But it’s fun nonetheless. For kicks, I’ll be keeping a running tally on the sidebar (near the bottom, below ‘categories’) throughout the season.

i dont mean reported in a rumour way. i mean trades have to be approved by the league and by that time someone – as connected as everyone is these days – would have heard and reported a deal had been done online in some manner.

yep – sounds ver ymuch like he is on the way out.

I think that he would be better off in Toronto where there are others to share the attention with.

Coincedently, imo LeafsTV has the worst coverage mostly because they consistantly continue showing replays after puck-drop and are often late returning from commercial breaks.
