Sounds like Reimer gets the start again and Komi stays in the press box.

I’m sure someone already covered this but just in case.

Love that it’s a tough call in regards to whom to play… We’re starting to see our depth in action. Would look even crazier with a 1C ( other then grabo who’s very much so a 1 c but has the misfortune of not being able to play well with Phill)

Grabo n phil play good everytime theyre on the ice together whatre u talkn about?? The only time theyve had a chance to is on the pp and ive seen sum great plays when they do. He could easily light it with phil and lups, but Dzone would be a mess.
Ps: their counter attack would be unbelievable tho. Grabo has a knack for pickin pucks off too.

Yes they’ve definitely looked dangerous but haven’t been given much of chance, since were winning I wouldn’t change the line up especially with Grabo and his line playing so well but next time we tweak the lineup I would go with:

    Lupul – Grabo – Kessel
    Mac – Bozie – Kuli
Crabb – Lombo – Armstrong (Connolly sits in the press Box)

    I missed it..lol thanks
I would of had no problem whether wilson went with Gus or Reims tonight but after a shut-out its tough not to go back to him. Arguably the biggest game of the year tonight!!! Go Leafs Go

Sorry, I don’t believe that you’re right. Not only would logic dictate you’re off… because they hardly ever play together, but they’re both shoot first players. As well, I think Grabo’s opposite side shot/pass doesn’t complement Kessel’s play.

“he could easily light it up with Phil and Lups” see, he “Could” but he doesn’t.

Dont try and argue that they spread their scoring, because if he was the right fit, he’d be on the line.

So hard to sit Connolly. His play would dictate it, but doesnt send a very good msgs to future UFA’s, however it would say ” dont think about coming here and not giving it your all ” Tough call as he hasnt played top 2 C hockey, and he’s not suited for the third and forth C role.

    Glad I’m not Wilson …

If anyone hasnt seen it, take a look at the Mackinnon video on TSN.CA the kid is one of the best hockey players I have EVER seen in my life. At 16 he dominates like crosby did in the league. but his so big on the ice and physical its insane

Ive said before to put him up on forward, it would make our lines look better IMO and our D would still be deep enough, Id go with:

    Lupul – Bozak – Kessel
    Mac- Grabo – Kuli
Phaneuf – Lombo – Armstrong (this can now be a shut down line)
    Crabb – Steckel – Brown

    Liles – Gunnar
    Schenn- Gardiner
    Komi – Franson
