    Matt Read was never drafted and was a UFA signing. So if burke was so high on him why didnt burke and Co go after him ?

    Its the quality of shots not the quantity that is important. A ton of shots from the outside is a goalie’s dream. Keep in the game by handling shotsbut very few actual legitimate scoring chances and that’s not taking anything away from Reimer’s game.

    Im on your side, you can definitely play good team defence. We played a perfect game in Ottawa, the shots were from the outside. The D were getting out of the way instead of pretending to be a goalie, and we were tying up the men infront eliminating rebound chances.

    Sens has essentially zero 2nd and 3rd chances.  That was the difference in that game.

    I’d consider it… he’s only 900k. From what I know of him he has some grit. My only question would be, does he have anything more to offer than Boyce or Crabb or any of the other guys on the cusp with the Marlies?
