i don’t think it’s denial to say Seguin isn’t a special player. he’s excellent no doubt, but special to some people is Malkin/Crosby good. Seguin isn’t that. who’s ‘more’ gifted/special: Kessel or Seguin. i think you and i would disagree on that one. i don’t know that you could build a team around Seguin. he’s not Toews even imo. i still think that Hall was the only guy in that draft who actually has the potential to put a team on his back to win a championship.

we might have been better off with all those draft picks, hard to say for sure. what is certain, is that’s a veteran bunch to say it nicely. a group destined to finish out of a lottery and out of a playoff imo.
