Is Luongo Florida bound?
Update from Team 1040: “Mike Gillis says still nothing imminent regarding a possible Luongo trade.”
Vancouver Sun’s Brad Ziemer: “Gillis vague on status of Luongo trade talks. Says sometimes you think you are close and things change.”
From George Richards, who reported the earlier rumour about Luongo’s pending return to Forida, tweeted: “#FlaPanthers asst GM Mike Santos says they haven’t spoken to #Canucks since draft.”

As discussed this morning, GM Dale Tallon bought out Matt Bradley and waived Mike Santorelli yesterday. This report comes on the heels of Darren Dreger calling the Panthers the clear front runners.
If this does indeed go down, all of Leafs Nation will be curiously awaiting news of the return headed Vancouver’s way.

I'm 51. Hawk played shortstop and I can' t for the life of me remember the team name. I played on Knappet Jewlers. Played a lot of mens league at the town park in Aurora as well.

This is 100% confirmed…that a huge over payment for a guy who makes close to 7 million a year for the next 7 years.i really don’t think he’s the answer. i would rather pay that and a bit more for nash than luo. what i would do is either go with what we got reimer and scrivens get shults and get either parise or nash. we have 12 dmen in our system 6 nhl dmen and 6 waiting in the wings. get what we need….consistant scoring. defemce will follow.

No, Vokoun would've waived for Toronto, but Burke didn't want to give him 2 years. That was the report from McKenzie or Dreger anyways.
