It’s Friday, and I have hockey links.

    From what i remember hearing at the end of the playoffs, Semin’s agent stated that his client is willing to take less money in order to get a longer term. Still, don’t think I would want him on my team…

    Can I ask a question to somebody in the know.
    Is it possible to change a players contract if both the team and the player agree to that. Say for instance Mr Luongo wants to move he tells Canucks that he wont do a deal and will stay on the same wage to force them to trade him. If he then chats to Toronto with Canucks permission but then agrees a term decrease by getting rid of the last silly three years and generally taking a little cut would the league allow that or is a player forced to take a wage he doesnt want. They allowed a salary decrease for Mason Raymond. OR is a player as locked as a club for a document they signed years earlier.

    The brass in Florida said that Clemmensen has a big role to play in Florida last year wen he was unable to break into Theodores ice time. 2 seasons back Clemmensen played very well there and saved their bacon on more than one occasion.
