Anthony Petrielli and I will be interviewing Toronto Maple Leafs Vice-President of Hockey Operations, Dave Poulin, tomorrow afternoon for an upcoming feature.  The discussion will revolve mostly around recent player acquisition and attempt to glean some insight on the day-to-day operations of the club from a management perspective heading into the 2012-2013 season.  Please feel free to submit any possible questions you might have in the comments section below.  Looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with.

No need to waste your time. His inability to demonstrate an epistemology is strictly empirical. No need to stultify this site.

Or in words most can understand- WTF- don’t waste your time arguing as that is what he seeks to pass his moribund lifestyle.

He should remember why Socrates died- educating masses through a dialectic or corrupting youth? No pissing people off by the way and words that he was talking so provided hemlock.

Let’s talk Leafs- no to Bernier unless part of major overhaul with 2 gaolies coming in.

The one thing about Burke is that he tends to show faith and praise in an individual and then trades them when able (kaberle and schenn come to mind). I think Bernier is not a prime target but if could be acquired for non-desired assets and another deal in the works using one of Reimer or scrivens then he does a deal and still looks for 1a goalie if bernier was 1B or part of a flip to get our 1a

Mattmark, just letting you know I think you’re a douche. Last post of yours I’ll read, enjoy being clever, I’m sure it does you well in life.

I do not see it happenning but rather a possibility if a pitch was made. In my belief we are targetin a 1a goalie- luongo or similar career save % goalie who are highly paid and moving into similar situation with a 1b goalie signing longer term or moving up. (Ie Backstrom out of Minn)

Ok. Out of here for a while- on BA flight frol LHR to Hamburg and 3 meetings today. Will check in sometimes in between meetings and on train tonight back to hotel.

Id love to have Bernier+Reimer as a tandem. Sure they may have similar potential, but wouldn’t you say the same about Quick+Bernier the past couple years? It turned out great there, the same could happen with one or the other here, perhaps even both. Tandems with similar potential are good, cuz nobodies comfortable enough to not wanna get better everyday. Not to mention, one of the biggest disappointments in regards to Reimer stems from fatigue (pre-concussion i mean). I think if they share the pipes we’d see some unreal goaltending from both sides, and could have our hands on a Roloson/Fernandez , Osgood/Vernon, Luongo/Schneider (ok not that good), Nabokov/Kipprussoff/Toskala (when he was good), type scenario.

Yeah i dont know when stockpiling in the most important area became a bad idea. Sure it should make sense for us, and no i dont think Kadri should be apart of the equation. But i think Colborne+Scrivens+Franson, for Bernier Scuderi, and a pick would be more than fair for both sides.

Except if he is then part of a package deal for asset you really want and we have the asset the Kings want

Good morning BB. Fully agree – that time of the half solutions must come to an end.

Swapping Reimer and Bernier – OK. But sending pick and players to another team for something that isn’t a proven solution has to stop

Maybe but to me it sends the wrong message to the rookies trying to make our line up. Scrivens deserves a shot especially after the way he played last season .
