Anthony Petrielli and I will be interviewing Toronto Maple Leafs Vice-President of Hockey Operations, Dave Poulin, tomorrow afternoon for an upcoming feature.  The discussion will revolve mostly around recent player acquisition and attempt to glean some insight on the day-to-day operations of the club from a management perspective heading into the 2012-2013 season.  Please feel free to submit any possible questions you might have in the comments section below.  Looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with.

    The only other possibility I can see is maybe this rumour was floated to apply more pressure to Gillis to get of his ass and move Luongo.

    No, just have scrivens signed to a 1 way 1.5 mill per deal so if he has to be called up hes safe(r)

    So you want to carry Scrivens with cap hit of 1.5 million to avoid him eventually being picked up on waiver?

    Without knowing all the facts of what is exactly behind a move like this its hard to come to any concrete conclusion as to what the fuck Burke is up to . At face values given what we know its not a good move IMO.

    If people would give good assets like 2nd round picks for Bishup, then people would lineup to take Scrivens at 1.5 mil for free.

    The problem as I seen it right now is that at center 4-6 players can fill the roster from 2C and down.

    Grabo has the 2C – and is probably one of the best at that position which leave us with Connolly, Lombardi, McC, Steckel, Bozak, Colborne and maybe Kadri for 2 spots.

    But we don’t have a true 1C – and no Kadri or Colborne has not proven that they can handle that job.

    Same at defense and in the goal.

    Simply put we have a structural problem on the roster

    100% agreed the roster is in such a state of flux, i could honestly see bb carry 3 goalies
