This summer’s Maple Leafs Annual, now published by Lindy’s Sports under the title “In the Rink: 2012-13 Maple Leafs,” is available for online order today ($9.99 plus shipping) and will hit newsstands across the GTA on August 28. Chapters/Indigo and Shoppers Drug Mart should have it across the country.

Pleased to have been invited back as editor, I’m confident this is the best collection of content we have put together in our four years producing the book. Leafs fans seldom get this type of value for their money.

    Pretty good when you payed attention to him, handled the puck cleanly as always, and entered the zone creatively, and made some good passes, maybe was guilty of a mistake or two but overall pretty tidy game … if you’re hockey memory works like a highlight reel though you wouldn’t have noticed him tonight. Definitely not his best game of the series, but wasn’t a drop off of performance level in any way.

    Its so painful…. the blue and white goggles we have…. man SO MANY of us were jizzing over the lineup just when we got kessel saying “this is our year”… god… i feel like that is this year too and in a couple years we’ll be laughing at this years starting lineuop

    That’s the challenge when you have this disparity though. If you have a Cap (and I don’t think it’s going anywhere) what numbers do you use to calculate it? Or whose numbers? Does each team have their own Cap, based on their own revenues? Because it’s not good enough to just lower the Cap, or just lower the Players’ %. You have to get money into the poor team’s hands, and then you have to make sure they don’t just pocket it.

    Love the idea of trading Cap space…similar to being able to trade cash. Not sure of the logistics of giving troubled teams extra picks. Teams in financial trouble shouldn’t be rewarded for that.

    Also, I can’t figure why the PA would want to put a limit on non-player spending.
