MacArthur to join German club, Marlies notes and other links

The three idiots on Hockey Central were all talking over each other at the same time so I said that if I wanted to hear hysterical people talking over each other that I’d watch The View. Millard read it on air and MacLean and Kipper started chirping that maybe I should watch The View and see if they gave CBA updates. They have no idea that I get all that info right here. 

Last year they called the Turds making the playoffs and they went on a losing streak. I tweeted them saying they gave them the kiss of death, and they read it on the air. lol

Well you might get a third liner for MacArthur, but not the other types you describe. 

Please remember that MacArthur is no different than Stajan. He was given an opportunity for increased ice time on a crap team, playing minutes he would never get on a good team. He was also given an opportunity on special teams that he would never get elsewhere.

And the shoulder injury excuse has also run its course. MacArthur scored almost half his goals in October and November last year coming off his injury, then shit the bed with just 2 goals over the last quarter of the season. He was given more ice time than earlier in the season and was not rewarding his coach for the chance he was given, one of the reasons the Leafs dropped off the earth the way they did.

At best he’s a third line plug good for 30 points or so on a playoff team, exactly what he was in Buffalo.

Have no Idea Wiski. I’m hoping its to decide if they should to take one more stab at saving the season but it could just as easily be to continue on the present course . I do know one thing its not at all surprising to me that Fehr is waiting till the last minute to talk again. Its all about leverage and crisis negotiating is when sides tend to make concessions.

I hear one Vesa Toskala is available as well
