Morning Mashup: Marlies Preview!

Hey all!  I know I didnt post here very often and, but read it almost everyday, and been an nhl and leafs fan for 20 of my 30 years alive.  I’m really sad and pissed and at wits end to say the NHL has hit  the last straw for me and I’m done.  I know no one will miss me, but theyve gone and cancelled the biggest leafs event in the past 10 years on top of all their other sh!t their doing to us. I havent given a cent to the NHL since the last lockout, and now this is the logical conclusion. I may still jump the band wagon if the leafs ever make the playoffs again, and will definitely root for the young guys down with the Marlies, but other than that, peace out homies, mlhs, I’m done. You’ve been great.
(I hope I’m wrong, but it doesnt feel like it.  Feels like my lifelong love cheated on me for the third time and could care less. Good riddance.)

TH: I agree. The lines do not look that co-ordinated. The vets have been disappointing to say the least. How many times have you heard a Marlie could not pull the handle. For me, the only player who looks like a stud is Jake. Naz had a few moments but I have been unimpressed and am hoping Fratts can really spur him on. Are the forwards trying to get too fancy and find a good chance rather than seize a chance and make the best of it. Last night I got really pissed off with the PP and the short handed goal. Sheez if they had scored once on the PP then there would likely have been more concern on D by the PKers.  Dineen’s post game interview was really weak. Just own up to the stink and do something coaches.

Only hope is a working stream or radio unfortunatly

It’s not that bad when there is a season going on but during a lockout I can see why you wouldn’t want it lol

I agree to an extent atleast that the diehards will come back. However I also think everyone will come back and all will be forgoetten. As for being angry , I consider myself a diehard and I’m not angry and more just in disbelief I just miss watching the Leafs on the ice and the AHL just isn’t doing it for me not to mention it is a mission to try and follow. Personally I’m more sad/confused then angry

  No no, they may be fine I would guess, the Games rate them differently than me, I rate them on the your never gonna play for my team you invisible piece of Crap scale

 My dad cancelled his as well. I don’t have leafs TV but it seems they are not even  trying to do anything to keep customers over the lockout.

What would you expect them to do? they don’t have the AHL contract so they can’t play those games, without the leafs they’re shit. If anything they should cancel themselves until the season starts
