Winter Classic was already spoiled

With no negotiations taking place in the past week-plus and a $250,000 payment due to the University of Michigan Friday, the Winter Classic officially got the axe today.

For me, the Winter Classic was spoiled the moment it became apparent the two sides were willing to cancel games and use the fans as a pawn in their greedy game. Say the season came back in time to save the Classic – would it have felt right jumping right back on board and supporting the league in its biggest event of the regular season?

    I dunno, I’m a strong Kadri supporter, maybe its blind optimism. I think theres a tendency to overvalue or undervalue him in our fanbase … he’s just a bloody hard player to gauge in general, and him being in toronto doesn’t help. Hope for him it translates to some serious points in the big leagues at some point.

    Bboy: Not trying to disrespect Naz, just saying he is not the same player as he was in the playoffs prior to the separated shoulder. The line changes aren’t helping. I don’t think he is really getting the support either. Can’t wait for Fratts to get him going.

     Sounds like they could use a trigger man or 2 . Every game is the same story; they get all kinds of chances on the pp but they just don’t finish.
