At least they’re talking again

Anyway, if you’ve read me or listened to me on the radio throughout this process, you know I’ve been very pessimistic about a deal getting done. I would say I’ve switched to cautiously optimistic now. I have been given hope that the two least turbulent leaders in this negotiation are sitting down talking about things that actually matter, and without storming off in a huff and a puff.

This is a math equation now. Solve the math equation, save some face, catapult this league back onto the national landscape and make sure that a large portion of the 2012-13 season is played.

-Michael Russo updates after last night’s lengthy meeting between Bill Daly and Steve Fehr. A meeting involving more representation from both sides is expected to take place early in the week.

    The devil is in the details. The NHLPA really need to start negotiating off the NHL proposal. The points that Russo noted, in terms of PA friendly terms, would seem to me there is sufficient movement toward the NHLPA (off of the initial insult) to have the Negotiating Committee green light step up in meetings.

    OK after two days (well about 6-7 hrs of leaf collection) the front and side lot are done !!!

    The back left to get done this week. I fuckin hate leaves, and the Lockout.

    You should pave your lawn!!
    I’ve been cutting trees off some land I own all weekend because I’m building a house there soon. Im beyond tired now. Worst thing is tomorrow is Monday so I have to start another week without any days off (3 full weeks and counting now)

    I love the work and do manual labor monday-friday also, at least some anyway. I’m a heavy duty mechanic/operator/truck driver/laborer (when needed) for a paving company. Grew up on a farm also so have been working like a dog since I can remember.

    Guys, does anyone remember why the Marlies are carrying so many players. 8/9 are not dressed for each game? Dallas spoke of problem with cohesion given the number of players on the squad. I don’t remember why the Leafs is now disassociated with Reading Royals.

    Reading signed a deal with the Caps this summer . My guess is it caught the Leafs brass totally off guard and left then scrambling to find places to put players . Its a tough situation for the team without doubt but there is no fix till the lockout is over from the looks of it .
