Pretty good sports weekend in Toronto, guys.  In fact, it’s been a great last eight or nine days or so, thanks to the Jays, Argos and Marlies.

Now, if we could just enlarge the ‘greater Toronto area’ enough to include McMaster U….

    This
past weekend a football team from Hamilton (Mac Marauders) and one from Toronto (Argos) walloped a team from Calgary and stunned one in Quebec.
If the sports gods keep smiling, these two southern Ontario cities will now trade places and hand out
the same treatment to another team from Calgary and another one from Quebec.

it’d be nice to see the Argos win the 100th Grey Cup.  I guess the Marauders are playing against Laval.

On this day in 1967, Tim Horton played his 1000th game, in 1971Dmitry Yushkevich was born, and in 2010 Pat Burns passed away.   I hope some future Leaf great is being born today because it’s better news than anything else Leaf related. http://onthisdayinleafshistory.blogspot.ca/2009/10/on-this-day-november-19th.html#.UKoSAIe_DdM
