It was a great day for the PK.  Nice to see them be able to shut teams down.  Like Luke said “upswing”.

The D looked better today. Blacker with Fraser seems to be working. Great move by Leo to crowd the net for Naz’s goal. PhysicaL ending to last two games. Is Fraser our new Sherriff? Koska gets an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Naz scores, Naz seems to have more time. DE says Ranger best D-man on this last road trip/week-end. Marlies seem to be gelling.

It’s looking a lot better.  Sometimes it can be hard to see the big picture ( especially in game day threads ) but if we can avoid getting too high or too low after every good or poor game, we’ll be much better off.

Sure he does . He’s no speed burner but I would consider Kadri as average speed in the NHL . He seems to be a bit more explosive this yr . That’s likely a result of the work he’s been doing with Barb Underhill.

I think Kadri’s game would translate well on a 2-3 line with Connolly and Frattin if the season resumes this year. Kadri’s an underrated passer so Frattin would benefit from that, and he has that pocket ace of a snipe that he’ll whip out every once in a while if Connolly can feed a couple beauties to him. His nifty mittens can also be freed up by Frattin making some space for him, and Connolly shifting back a bit defensively, which was actually the one good part of his game last year.

Having that line work in tandem with the Grabo scoring/shutdown line could give our team a nice bit of depth, that we haven’t had for a while.
