Merry Christmas and/or Happy Holidays to you and yours, MLHS. These haven’t been the last few months we envisioned at the site, but this great community will abide and we thank every one who still checks in.

Maybe instead of wasting a Christmas wish on a saved season, wish for Nathan MacKinnon this June.

    All is good. As usual the Kids make out like bandits and the wife and I get the last of the budget. It is better to give than receive. Just ask MLSE. Sun is shining, temp in the 70s. This is not Christmas. Last good Christmas we were in North Bay. Snow crunching under foot, breath making fog, walking the dogs.

    I desperately want a DVD of the history of the Leafs. I see there is a DVD “Maple leafs Forever”. I can’t find anything about it. Does anyone have a copy or has seen it? I am looking for something that is from the early days to present, documents all the events, highlights the seasons and the players. Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Last night i just watched the 75th anv. of the leafs.  From the beginning to the closing of the gardens.  Pretty good.

    Thats the day temp.  prob. more like minus 30 something for the low.  Elliot lake got a foot and a half last Fri.  Just missed it.  Forgot what a good dump of snow looks like!  lol  have fun.  Put on a Snugy!
