    Perry is a better player in so many ways, but Getzlaf is the positional need.  Boudreu also didn’t have a rosey first impression of Getzlaf, so if someone goes, I think it will be him…but I could be wrong.

    Brooks is being such a homer about this it’s absurd.  Basically any kind of restrictive measures by the league were going to hurt the Rangers – they violated the spirit of the cap with the Richards signing and chose to bring in Nash without considering the consequences of a new CBA.  Sather’s fault – not Burke’s.
