One Day FREE Fantasy Hockey Contest – $200 in cash prizes
Share

If you haven’t heard yet, there’s a new way to play fantasy hockey that turns the season long grind into quick hitting one night leagues. And the best part is that you can win cash every single day. You draft a team for one night and get paid out as soon as the games end that night. DraftStreet.com is at the forefront of this new trend in the fantasy world and is giving us a great promotion: a FREE one-day fantasy league with $200 in prizes exclusively for Maple Leafs Hot Stove fans.

This free contest will involve salary-cap style drafting where everyone tries to assemble the best team out of the available players. You will have a $100,000 budget to build a team of 2 LW’s, 2 RW’s, 2 Center’s, 2 Defensive players, 1 Goalie, and a FLEX. Each NHL player has been allocated a price based on their expected fantasy performance.

You can adjust your roster up until the contest starts on Friday January 25th at 7:00pm ET, at which time your rosters will lock and the Live Scoreboard will be available.

CLICK HERE to sign up for free and join the Maple Leafs Hot Stove $200 Freeroll on DraftStreet.com.

Not just you, i saw him doing some good things out there. You can tell his foot still bothered him on his stride, but with some time, healing, and conditioning, he’ll be alot more effective out there.

In regards to the Lupul deal, it was a solid signing. We get rid of almost 8 mill in Connolly and Lombardi come next year, and we give one million of it to Lupul on a pay raise. Nothing wrong with that from me.

lol, I get away with this site because its news, I explained that its just news I am interested in and if other co-workers can go to CNN, Canoe, CBC to get news that interests them I should be allowed to get news that interests me.

Having said that, I think I would be pushing the envelope signing up for sports pools lol

i think Liles will be int he last year of his contract before it’s considered whether or not he’s to be traded.  unless a blockbuster trade changes things

So did Komisarek tbh. Under Carlyle he’s going to be a whole new dman. He’s a more aggressive (in tight-in your face), and faster skating Schenn on the defensive side of things (whether people choose to admit it or not). Schenn is smoother, and lines up his hits from farther away and his puck handling is better but Komi is a better shutdown guy tbh. His puck skills are horrible but thats not what he’ll be relied upon in Carlyles system.

lots of people said they liked JVR last game.  i’m like you, though.  noticed his line mates but not him so much.

i did notice two times a guy took a run at him in neutral ice, near misses.  he turned and looked to address it both times but the camera panned away so i’m not sure to what extent…just a dirty look?

i think JVR will be a guy who quietly plays a sound defensive game, doesn’t do a lot offensively until he explodes once a game to do something that makes us want to see more of that.  but i don’t know.

What i noticed most about JVR was that when the whistle blew he was ALWAYS standing on top of the goalie. it was nice to see.
