With the start of the new hockey season a week away, MLHS has been invited to the 2013 NHL Face-Off season opener hosted at the iconic former Maple Leaf Gardens, courtesy of Scotiabank and the ScotiaHockey NHL VISA card.
Best part? They offered us five tickets to the private viewing party to give away to our great readers.
To enter the contest, guess the score of tonight’s game against the Ottawa Senators along with the game-winning goal scorer in the comments below. The first five people who get either the score right or guess the game winning goal scorer correctly, or both, will receive a free ticket to the October 1st viewing party.
Kulemin on Kadri's wing, and a look at the Leafs' opening night defence group? My Leafs/Sens Preview http://mapleleafshotstove.com/2013/09/24/preview-and-gdt-senators-at-maple-leafs-7-p-m-leafs-tv/…
This whole situation is kind of similar to the Ambush on the Isle in the 2010-2011 season. The Islanders had a bunch of their AHL guys in the game and things just went south. The Islanders were fined, a ton of suspensions, Godard was suspended 10 games for leaving the bench to help Brent Johnson in a fight.
@wiski too bad, wanted to see JVR-Kadri-Kessel get some time. Sweet line if your in bad need for goals
@Doorman My car is in getting it's conditional pass, you know, so the air will be clearer. Even if it fails again, as long as I spend 450.00, I get to drive my dirty car. How fucking stupid is that? they don't even test the tailpipe anymore.
@CanuckUKinToronto Patience Grasshopper, it only started 25 minutes ago.
@Jmessih Phook wannabe...
Cox's tweets have more to do with a personal beef with Shanny than a defender of the Leafs
He's gone all frog in a blender again
@wiski Harrsison Mooneyis now the de-facto legal standard that the NHL must apply! Fuck off and die!
@wiski Fuckin Leaf hater this guy
@Malkincookies The NHL has gone full Fenton (retard) mode on this one. Say goodbye to your superstars everyone...
I wasn't saying 'you' made no sense. I was sayin Scott's premeditated actions made no sense because I can't remember in the last 30 years seeing a goon try to fight a guy, other than another fighter, who hadn't actually done anything against his team.
@Xxxxxnew I was talking pre-mediated as in hes fighting no matter what. He admitted this. I didnt say he was planning to go after a sniper.
It's the premeditated part. It made no sense. In just about every goon show the goon goes after the guy who hurt someone on his team. Can't remember the last time a goon went after a random sniper.
@wiski @Burtonboy I think it was the timing of having Scott out there. The fight for scott was admittedly premeditated and was going to happen regardless of who he lined up across from. I think they are saying the coach should have settled it down by not allowing it to happen.
Taking Scott off the ice in other words.
