GO LEAFS GO.
The following projected lines are based on this tweet:
Leafs look to be reverting to line combos from start of Saturday's game: Lupul/JVR/Kessel, Raymond/Kadri/Clarkson.
— Jonas Siegel (@jonasTSN1050) November 13, 2013
These are different than the practice lines, which followed the units Carlyle blended together in the 2nd period vs. Boston (Raymond – JvR – Kessel; Lupul – Kadri – Kulemin; Ashton – McClement – Clarkson). We’ll update when there’s confirmation.Lines: Leafs vs. Wild, November 13, 2013.
|Left Wing||Center||Right Wing|
|Left Defense||Right Defense|
For those that might be a little stressed after this game and in need of a laugh…An Islanders fan on another site has suggested that since the Leafs need a centre and Islanders need D a Strome for Rielly and Gardiner trade would be good. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA…….Good night everyone.
BTW…Rielly on the left point on the PP = better than Dion on the left point on PP. Rielly is much quicker at corralling the puck off the boards or from a pass back to the point and quickly getting it across to the right side Dman. Doesn't give the PKers as much time to set up.
The most disgusting moment of tonight's match was learning Mike Johnston is part of the Leafs alumni game
Well, I'm off to bed, but 4 points:
1.) I don't think either Kadri hit is suspension worthy
2.) I think Kadri will be suspended at least 2 games regardless
3.) I understand it more if they focus on the goalie hit, though still disagree.
4.) If Nonis has any centers lined up, he should probably be getting ready to pull the trigger. It is clear that our roster is a mess without centers. We cannot afford to risk going down more centers.
I was thoroughly enjoying watching the Leafs shut down and crush the Minnesota Christmas Elves this evening for 56 minutes tonight...what a let down
Steaks are on Phil
Kadri basically to Granlund what Chara does to everyone every night. HIt a much smaller player and may have contacted the head inadvertently as a result. Not sure why the Chara excuse doesn't apply. Where is TSN with the list of excuses!?!?
Question…Kadri was given a 5 minute match penalty not a 5 minute major. Does a match penalty carry an automatic 1 game suspension?
Presuming Kadri isn't suspended I think I'd put him between Kessel and JVR both games against Buffalo to get those two wingers going again. They'll have to do something make-shift on the second line like Raymond between Lupul and Clarkson.
The answer to winning is simple;"Keep your head down kid"
Welcome to the new NHL.
haha..thanks for the laugh Wiski
The brunette looks like she's ready for the quiet room ;)
Yes,in fact he and Gardiner have looked like the best pair lately
Mobility and vision.
Correction..most disgusting moment of the season
How that smarmy, little cup of coffee prick got picked over the vast collection of legends is beyond me.
What,was Rocky Saginuk busy?
I feel the same way often...just never bet on it
Betttman has his zebras keeping games close, and pet franchises closer.
It was a joke tonight....again.
Anybody who thinks officiating doesn't affect the outcomes of games is dead wrong
@Cameron19 Just watched the replay and have read all posts here. Granlund hit, meh, that hit is not a match. Player needs to protect himself better. Hit on Backstrom was Kadri's fault though. He made very little effort to miss Backstrom and he is going to pay for it, 2 games is my guess. Shit we are on a bad injury - suspension run.
I have seen Shanahan say many times that when the body is contacted in concert with the head that it is a perfectly legal check.
Kadri's was textbook.
The goalie one might get him a game or two...he's not a Hab afterall.
@Shift_Disturber1 He's just trying to be controversial. Really, who's listening to him?
@Shift_Disturber1 I think Button should get his eyes checked
@Bon Scott was a Leaf fan Seriously though….They couldn't wait until after we played the Sabres?
@Wilbur I imagine the match penalty will be over ruled tomorrow, they often do that based on video evidence
@Wilbur 21.1 Match Penalty - A match penalty involves the suspension of a player for the balance of the game and the offender shall be ordered to the dressing room immediately.
A match penalty shall be imposed on any player who deliberately attempts to injure or who deliberately injures an opponent in any manner.
21.2 Short-handed - A substitute player is permitted to replace the penalized player after five (5) minutes playing time has elapsed.
The match penalty, plus any additional penalties, shall be served by a player (excluding a goalkeeper) to be designated by the Manager or Coach of the offending team through the playing Captain, such player to take his place in the penalty box immediately.
For all match penalties, regardless of when imposed, or prescribed additional penalties, a total of ten minutes shall be charged in the records against the offending player.
In addition to the match penalty, the player shall be automatically suspended from further competition until the Commissioner has ruled on the issue. See also Rule 29 – Supplementary Discipline.
21.3 Reports - The Referee is required to report all match penalties and the surrounding circumstances to the Commissioner of the League immediately following the game in which they occur.
@Bon Scott was a Leaf fan I liked where he was trying to go. No not the corner, but stick side. Always go stick side in the shootout.
@Bon Scott was a Leaf fan He probably would have if he wasn't kicked out lol
@CanuckUKinToronto One with McClement in the box too.
@Komas Taberle I really miss Bolland.
@Shift_Disturber1 Nope but I will lay odds Kadri will get 2 for the hit on the Goalie
@Shift_Disturber1 Because it's the Bruins, which does not make it right. I really want to know why the NHL loves that shitpile of a team? Can't wait for the downturn and the fans get screwed again.
@Wilbur First line has not been the same since JVR was put at center
At least you didn't say dentures
That's Doorman's tell.
head case ;)
