Monday Mashup: Olympic Hockey

857

Just 17 days until the next Leafs game.

Does this look familiar?

Note: There’s also a woman on Team USA named Bozak.

Founded in 2008, Maple Leafs Hotstove (MLHS) has grown to be the most visited unofficial team-focused hockey website online (Quantcast). Independently owned and operated, MLHS provides thorough and wide ranging content, varying from news, opinion and analysis, to pre-game and long-form game reviews, a weekly feature piece, the "Leafs Notebook", along with a Web TV show the "Maple Leaf Hangout".

Looks like Canada practiced with the same lines and pairs today as yesterday

No Leafs for another Fricken 2 weeks. This is starting to feel like Summer but with 5 feet of snow on the Golf course

Anyone seen curling shoes like these?  I can honestly say that they look like they'd be hard to play on, but I guess the heels help to dig into the ice.

@Savo43  It's not an AHL restriction. It's an agreement between the NHL and the CHL. Trying to help the junior teams keep their players longer.  If you are from Europe and get drafted, you can come play in the AHL at 18, I'm pretty sure.

@Cameron19 @Savo43  they pay sfa development fees to the CHL for this arrangement. It will change when the NHL is willing to pay the CHL what they do all other leagues in development fees which means never IMO

Seriously I am not optimistic we sign bolland, after Stajan's contract, how can we fit hi under the cap, and retain some form of Flexability

@TheCanucksnaphook  Joe took the same route as Bozak too . Played university hockey and never came into the league till he was close to 24
