MARLIES EARN 4-1 VICTORY OVER HAMILTON
McKegg scores twice, D’Amigo and Carrick round out the scoring while Christopher Gibson picks up the win in net.

The Toronto Marlies defeated the Hamilton Bulldogs, AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, by a score of 4-1 this afternoon at Ricoh Coliseum.
Justin Courtnall’s sixth goal of the season opened the scoring just past the midway point of the first period. The Marlies would tie the game before the end of the frame with Greg McKegg scoring his 14th goal of the year on a powerplay. After a scoreless second period, Sam Carrick notched the eventual game winning goal at 6:08 of the final frame. Greg McKegg and Jerry D’Amigo added insurance markers to secure a 4-1 victory for Toronto. With the win, the Marlies finish the season series against Hamilton with a record of 6-4-2-0.
