Interesting GOT in the last 7 minutes, not quite like the book. Nice to see the Kings won it-this has been a great series even though between 2 teams I could hardly give a fig about. Hope the Leafs brass were watching and learned a thing or two about fore-checking, back-checking and possession play. The Kings were able to pull the win out even without their goalie standing on his head (although he did make some nice saves). Marlies try to stave off elimination tomorrow-GO MARLIES!

Tyler Toffoli and Tanner Pearson were playing in the #OHL in 2012, the last time the #Kings won the Stanley Cup. Now key players for LA

If the Kings win the SC, I hope Dwight King scores the winner. Kings' King beats King, Kings become Kings.

So now we need the Kings-Rangers to go 7 as well and then the Kings win again. For the first 7-7-7-7

what do people think about what Don just said> (spotting guys and not having a fourth line shift)

Maybe Kings' fans weren't so off base saying Bernier is probably better than Quick.

@Bruffins Might work sometimes. No way you can sustain playing that way over many games, and both these teams know this(considering it's the first time they've done it in the series I think). Majority of the time you need a solid 4th line shift. You can switch it up for some games, but doing it consistently wears your top guys down.(which is why no playoff team does it during the season or for the majority of the playoffs)

I'm assuming that he's talking about giving "4th line" guys so few minutes.

@loomx @Bruffins

the way he worded it it sounded like he did it all the time though, found it interesting

@ShiftyD @Bruffins

basically said he doesn't have a fourth line, he would just place those guys at certain times on the other 3 so everybody got a chance and they couldn't be countered

@Bruffins @loomx

Believe he was saying instead of shortening the bench to only 3 lines, he'd just rotate the guys in throughout the lineup near the end of the game (that was my take, anyway)

@Bruffins @ShiftyD Don't mind it actually. But I do like just a solid 4th line that is consistent, comes out and plays hard.
