does anyone think that Devane has a chance this yr? id rather him over Orr or FML........Devane can actually skate ell for a big man...
might be hard pressed this yr to make it, but he cant be far off...
Just listening to this...a master at work:
Hahaha, good ice bucket challenge here
Am i crazy for thinking about buying this?
If they added an NHL team to your city. How tempted would you be to switch teams. I wouldn't switch but i would definitely check out a few games if Mississauga got a team.
@ingy56 It's not that hard to remember the fans screaming shoot at him during power plays as he dangled along the red line searching desperately for someone to pass it to. The other team didn't even bother to cover him as it was so plain he was not an offensive threat anymore. He had a great run in the early and mid 2000's but it was plain to see by the time he left the team and soon the league that either he had lost the magic or the game had changed and he hadn't.
@ingy56 He drove me nuts the last couple years here but I wish him only the best, I hope he can make a comeback.
@ingy56 and Scott Gomez. That team might win the cup....in 2002
@ingy56 Q up the Clarkson for Kaberle rumours!
@ingy56 one of the few covers I like better than the original. For me Sting>SRV>Hendrix (no disrespect meant to Jimmy the Master)
@mike_84 I'm an animal lover and even though I like the idea, I also find this excessive (due to size). I'd wait for version 2.0.
@mike_84 Dunno 'bout that. What if you find fornification, up-the-skirt, and other unintended images?
@mike_84 What would you like the team to be called? 'Sauga Dogs? lol
@mike_84 Might sound funny, but I'm of the feeling that a 2nd NHL team may not be a slam dunk success here. Toronto's a Leaf town, not necessarily a hockey town.
@mike_84 Would that entail affordable seats?
@mike_84 I think if Bodie shows up like he did last year, he will stick with the big club. He was one of the only bottom 6 last year that showed up ever night.
/edit I have no idea how far Devane is, just thinking Bodie has the inside shot to make the big club

@Yaknowwhat Auto complete error... inexcusable though for a news outlet.
@Yaknowwhat maybe it was an airbus 380? ;)
@Hmmm @mike_84 Post them in the mashup stay on topic in the other thread ;)
@Hmmm @mike_84 the Mississauga massasaugas. The logo would be a M with a snake wrapped around it
@Hmmm @mike_84 No, they'd probably cost more.
@Hmmm @mike_84 prob for the first year or two but not after that
@Hmmm @ingy56 @mike_84 Not sure, I mean the Leafs do get tremendous support in Buffalo and even Ottawa, but that's 4 times a year. It's just a funny feeling I have. I think the K-W area would be a great spot, just not sure what the Red Wings would think. Might impact junior hockey in that region too.
@Yaknowwhat I could be wrong, they probably have market studies that indicate a huge potential market. However, the WHA was a no-go here, even when the Leafs sucked ass. I'm positive the Toros would have beaten the Leafs of that year. Junior hockey has failed here on numerous occasions. Sure, neither of these examples are NHL hockey but it's enough to make me wonder.
@mike_84 Leafs would have to screw up bad then. Hmmm, I wonder if it would be possible to buy a stake in the ownership?
I got the same feeling Ingy...your bang on..its a Leaf town...not a hockey town....I think alot of people would be absolutely shocked by the lackluster fan support of a second Toronto team...
@Yaknowwhat Still, wouldn't it sell out for every game against the Leafs?
@Yaknowwhat You mean it wouldn't pay the sabres?
