The Toronto Maple Leafs will play their 12th set of back to back games this season down in Florida before entering the All Star Break. Leg one goes tonight in Sunrise against the high-flying Panthers.

Coles notes on the lineup:

  • Nick Spaling is back and is expected to center Lupul and Holland.
  • Leivo and Boyes are scratched.
  • James Reimer will tend goal.

The Leafs have scored just 11 goals in their last eight games, and may dress Sam Kadri up front tomorrow if this keeps up.

The odds of an offensive breakthrough tonight appear slim given Roberto Luongo’s current form (four goals against in his last three). The Florida Panthers, in general, are the cream of the crop in the Atlantic Division at the moment, red hot with 14 wins in their last 16 games.
