The bad news for most of you reading this is that Team Canada doesn't look very good right now.  The good news is that Andreas Johnson does. Johnson has 4 points in 2 games to start the tournament including a goal and two assists in this morning's game versus Finland.  Johnson is an undersized, skilled kid, and whether he'll be able to bring his game over to North American ice is certainly open for debate. Back to work for the Leafs tonight, as they will hit the half way point of the season against Buffalo and Carolina this weekend (Friday/Sunday, with a rare Saturday off) before heading to the Big House for the Winter Classic on New Years Day. By virtue of the collective ass beating the Eastern Conference has been handed at the hands of the stronger West, an 86-point pace somehow has the Leafs clinging to a spot on the right side of playoff cutoff mark. Who all is up at the crack of dawn for the Frederik Gauthier viewing party, MLHS? Team Canada takes on Team Germany in the opening game of the 2014 World Juniors this morning at 7:30 a.m. EST on TSN. There's only three returning players for Canada from last year's tournament, one of which is suspended for the first three games (Griffin Reinhart) and one of the other two was Canada's third goalie last tourney (Jake Paterson).
