While the attention isn’t on the Leafs tonight, they will be looking to break the Senators longest winning streak in club history. Giguere is expected to get the nod tonight, and hopefully the Leafs can start off strong with great offensive pressure as they have in their previous two outings, but this time close it off with solid defensive coverage in the third period.
The Leafs woke up today and found themselves in dead last in the Eastern Conference. After making significant trades to acquire Dion Phaneuf and J.S. Giguere, this is certainly not the direction the team was hoping to head. The Leafs have lost 7 of their last 8 games and look to get back on the winning side of events beginning tonight.
The Senators have lost 6 of their last 8 visits to the ACC, and Toronto hopes that trend will continue and move themselves 2 points ahead of the Hurricanes. This is officially the start to the climb out of the bottom five for the Leafs. Hopefully they can pull together and achieve a successful 60 minute performance.

playoffs next year or RW will be gone for sure. This will be all BB team by then and if they don’t play hard next year or if they start next year like they did this year BB IMO will fire RW.

I’ve heard reports that a lot of the guys who got moved were not fans of Wilson. Selfish players, with a severe entitlement problem.

Looks like AO took over the Pittsburgh Washington game.

Huge entitlement issue. Look at what Schenn says regarding the ability to talk in the room now. It was a hold over from the Quinn days when young guys were seen and not heard.

@ rockydundas:
meh, I think I’d rather use Kaberle to go after a proven player – Carter, Staal or Ryan. Do we really want to wait 3 years for Hall/Seguin to be solid NHL’ers, or god forbid, just end up replacing Kaberle with Fowler? It’s tempting, because a Fowler/Colborne combination has the potential to be a lethal trade victory for us, but still, i think i would pass, personally.
