Great Arena, Great Seats, good company…… sigh…. wasted?
Lucky enough to attend this game in 9th row seats right at centre ice…. too bad there wasn’t a real hockey game taking place.

Not a fan of the “who we gonna get part” of the trade deadline.
I’ve never been a big fan of speculating on deadline trades. Usually just about everyone knows who could be traded…. it’s rare that anybody knows the return they will bring…. or the effect they will have on the team they are traded to.
Too many fans/sports writers over value and under value a player’s worth dependent [...]

In a game where you wondered if anybody was ever going to score… after 108 minutes and 53 seconds of scoreless hockey at MSG these two teams decide to score 3 goals in the next 2 minutes and 24 seconds……
Three games in one…
So I started writing about this one after the first period….. game one.
I had a different take on the game after the second period…. boring and all about Toskala.
Then our beloved Leafs managed to make the game exciting for all the wrong reasons.
