- The Edmonton Sun reports that Forbes has ranked the Maple Leafs as the NHL’s most valuable team for the fourth straight season. The team is worth an astounding $470 million, jumping 5% from last year despite a slow economy.
- According to the Windsor Star, Leaf prospect Dale Mitchell will head back to play one more season as an overager for the Spitfires, adding ridiculous depth to an already loaded team. Mitchell will make his debut tonight against Plymouth.
