From Doorman, the MLHS fantasy league organizer:

“OK GAMERS! It’s that time of year again when (CBA permitting) the hockey juices flow!

Time to sign up for the MLHS fantasy league! I’m looking to put 2 x keeper leagues together. 16 teams each. Plus one regular of 20 teams. All leagues are Head to Head. Yahoo format of course!

Here is what you have to do:

1. Post your E-Mail.
2. BELOW your e-mail, add: format you want to play. IE: Keeper or Reg, or both. Nothing more please. If you have any questions or concerns, make a separate post.
3. Give me a few days before I start to put the leagues together. I would like to put the right mix of players together. I will reply to all posts with “check your e-mail.” If you did not get a yahoo invite, let me know. As soon as you get your invite, please log in!

Once your in the League Home page – bookmark it!!! Next thing; use your MLHS handle as your Team Name. That way everyone knows everyone, and it’s easier for me to see who I’m missing. Keep visiting your LEAGUE HOME PAGE!!! There will be a lot of Info and discussion on the league message board; Very Important!!!

And finally:

COMMITMENT!!! The league runs for the whole season!!! You must be willing to move your roster at least 3 times a week. If you QUIT, you spoil the league. If you have personal problems or a vacation planned, let me know by e-mail; I will move your roster for you until you get back.

Looking forward to a great season and new faces!!!”

By the way, broadcasting live right now, you can literally watch paint dry over at MapleLeafs.com today as they put a fresh Maple Leaf down at center ice. Such is the nature of the last month of the off-season; I’ve been watching for the last 10 minutes and it’s been infinitely more exciting than a Donald Fehr media address.
