Canada’s possessional dominance met Finland’s energetic, trapping style in game three of the preliminary stages. Drew Doughty’s regulation and overtime goals were enough to pull out a tight 2-1 victory. Canada will take on the winner of Team Switzerland (another pesky trapping team with good goaltending) or Latvia (not likely to win) in the quarterfinals on Wednesday.
