Nazem Kadri, Ryan Hamilton Called Up

Great, I am really looking forward to seeing him. Sound like this call-up is well deserved.

Been following many posts for the last 6 weeks or so about haow the leafs should tank and must say that i completely disagree.

We need these guys to on a run so that they are can start feeling good about themselves. I dont think the roster will significantly change foe next year. What kind of summer will it be for the players and fans to finish 6 wins and 25 losses over the last 2 months? What kind of confidence will the players come to camp it in sep? We need a good run to end the season more than to move up 3-5 draft slots

a summer away can put a horrible finish out of your mind.
besides that I think we could see quite a few moves before next fall. it’s too brutally obvious that this team is far too soft. Burke will try to rectify it, he has to. It seems like the process began as soon as Carlyle stepped in. Rosehill recalled, Komi getting games, Army playing more, Ashton getting the call and now Hamilton (big bodies) and the guys given the nod to go ahead and fight.
Aside from that we really need higher end talent and it’s just too expensive to trade for. ie. Kessel. A #2-4 draft pick could really help there.

I think it will leave a sour taste in their mouths and they will be hungrier next fall…

It looks like Carlye is gonna use kadri more efficently than wilson. I was getting tired of him playing on the 3rd line anyways
