In lieu of a mashup this morning, I thought I’d put together the following charts courtesy  of the line graphics on DailyFaceoff.com. Look these lineups up and down and consider: is the Leafs‘ scoring depth any worse off? Is their defensive depth really behind? Outside of Pekka Rinne, were any of these goalies that good last season? Based on talent alone, would you be excited to switch rosters with any of these clubs? Why can’t the Leafs use a system that plays to their strengths (or rather, one that helps keep pucks out of the net)?

    Compared to my early morning readins here on MLHS There seems to be more arguing on this friday night. It is reported Booze may be a factor.

    Implication was Wilson was let go from a team also, Carlyle is a proven coach. I remember leaf fans were very excited to get RW. Fickleness was my point, we are a fickle lot.

    No apology required just think it was a knee jerk reaction to hire a permanent coach with only 18 games left in the season and wasn’t impressed with Carlyle the last few seasons.

    I am in no way wearing a Hire this guy campaign badge. I just think we get so carried away with something someone thinks they heard or possibly have heard a player say. Coaches coach, they don’t coddle. There appears to be only one Bylsma.
