    Kessel is what he is – a goal scorer and a young one. Should he be the face of the team NO but how many guys at his age score 30 or more goals? Keep him for a year or two, u can always trade if u want. Fans complain we have no young talent, we should tank etc and the when it happens everyone is up in arms. We could have tanked 4 years ago but would we any better today? Is Edmonton? The game team has some guys that r comIng it takes time to develop. Seguen would be lost on this team. Look what the roster projects in three years and what the salary obligations r. Relax and calm down about everything. It’s all this whining that kills the players. Look at versteeg, beauchemin, etc. they are productive in roles they are suited for give it Time

    Thats the problem with majority of Leaf fans. When fergie was GM everyone was hollering for his head and for the team to rebuild with young talent. Fast forward to 2012 and thats exactly what this team is doing but now the fans are screaming for burke to trade away his young talent for over rated over paid players like rick nash. Kessel for Nash? HA thats a joke! He’s done nothing for Columbus and will produce exactly the same here in T.O. Everyones argument is: “Kessel is one-dimensional, Nash is a big body”. Who the fuck cares? You get the big bodied players to make room for your speedy snipers, who the fuck is he going to make room for if kessel is gone? PPl have had a hard on for him since the olympics where he played alongside the BEST player in the world. Put john mitchell next crosby and I bet u he looks good as well.
