One Day FREE Fantasy Hockey Contest – $200 in cash prizes

If you haven’t heard yet, there’s a new way to play fantasy hockey that turns the season long grind into quick hitting one night leagues. And the best part is that you can win cash every single day. You draft a team for one night and get paid out as soon as the games end that night. DraftStreet.com is at the forefront of this new trend in the fantasy world and is giving us a great promotion: a FREE one-day fantasy league with $200 in prizes exclusively for Maple Leafs Hot Stove fans.

This free contest will involve salary-cap style drafting where everyone tries to assemble the best team out of the available players. You will have a $100,000 budget to build a team of 2 LW’s, 2 RW’s, 2 Center’s, 2 Defensive players, 1 Goalie, and a FLEX. Each NHL player has been allocated a price based on their expected fantasy performance.

You can adjust your roster up until the contest starts on Friday January 25th at 7:00pm ET, at which time your rosters will lock and the Live Scoreboard will be available.

    @Night_Hawk:disqus @Skip2myYOUUUUUUTH:disqus  I thought Liles looked great the first game as well. I just think that a contending team might want to bolster their defense with someone like Liles. Depending on how Kostka, Holzer, and Fraser play Liles could become expendable.

    lol sorry. No buyout for Liles at all. The lockout was something that helped him I think and will get to his form pre injury last year.

     I am so looking forward to that and with Orr and Brown and Frazer … maybe we can keep Ott at bay as well. But nothing will be sweeter than watching Kaleeta stagger off the ice not know where he is …

    I’m not saying we aren’t. If we can get the same production as Liles with someone with a cheaper salary perhaps we look into it. Especially if it’s a trade that would help us.

     I think the Leafs keep Liles for the experience factor and if they trade him it would be in the summer.

     I hope he is fully recovered (if that is possible) before he dukes it out … the sabers have a monster in the lineup … I hope our guys stay clear 6’8″ and 270 pounds … yuck

     what an articulate jab at the pre nonis/carlyle days in Toronto. Countless..and i mean countless times there were debates on here about how Kadri was treated differently then others and it was usually not a case of people thinking Kadri could do no wrong, but more a case that no matter what he did right RW and BB always focused on what he did wrong.
