Game Review: Leafs hang around, destroy Canucks in 5 minutes. Enter the break with 70 points. http://mapleleafshotstove.com/2014/02/08/game-review-game-60-leafs-3-vs-canucks-1/ … #TMLtalk
I was originally hoping Detroit would win but I like Tampa pushing those bastards down the list and I hope they finish out of the playoffs.
Plenty of time to catch Tampa.
Not that it matters, but the Isles are making a comeback against the Avs, Were down 3 - 0 now 3 - 2 with just over a minute left.
@Burtonboy no shit and I hope Burrows gets taken care of. What a chickenshit thing to do with a full facemask on
@Burtonboy Wholeheartedly agree
@Knights2Leafs Yup, if Detroit didn't win in regulation they may as well lose in regulation.
while I fully admit Bernier has been better you can't use that stat when he played with LA. Otherwise we should be saying we shouldn't have given up the best goalie in the league for Bernier
Yes. Your goalie is doing well.
@CanuckUKinToronto Well at least Reims is close ,closer then I thought
@Optimustic Yea, but we want Tampa to lose...
@Optimustic Not if they score an empty netter. I got Wings +1.5
@rustynail and picked last at the all star game
@rustynail shit...hope he is ok
@Gozo nope tied with 5 mins left. looks like a 3pt game
@Gozo 2-2 late in the 3rd.
Bozak-Kadri-Kulemin-Bolland (McClement hurt)
I will agree with you there. I'm not trying to bust your balls here so sorry if that's how it appears...but the comment about the self evedent stuff rankles me. Yes, we got a really really good goalie in Bernier....and we're shoving a really really good goalie in Reimer aside...one that brought us the best goaltending we've had since around 2002. Sorry, it's not like we're choosing Bernier over Justin Pogge here.
@CanuckUKinToronto @rockydundasI know. How it happened was, I read your comment and then looked at who wrote it and thought ..."Uh huh.." Like I said, I'm happy for Bernier but I believe Reimer is every bit as good. he's gotten the shaft this year and wouldn't blame him for lost confidence. Bernier 'fans' won''t recognize this though.
No, I'm happy Bernie is doing well, but when Reimer was outplaying him earlier, and I'm a Reimer fan for the record, I didn't take it as an opportunity to take a shot at Bernier. There are a few on this board who are sparing no opportunity to play up Bernier over Reimer. Sorry if you haven't done this in the past, but i think we have had this conversation before....kinda getting tired of it.
