The Toronto Marlies defeated the Rochester Americans, AHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres, by a score of 3-1 in front of a sellout crowd at Ricoh Coliseum this morning.
After a scoreless opening frame, Kevin Porter gave Rochester a 1-0 lead on a powerplay at 57 seconds of the second period.
